For that price they got a site that was slow and hard to edit. The part patients noticed most: it was **broken on mobile**. That’s how it shipped.* ## What we did We hand-coded a new site on *Astro*, served from Cloudflare's edge: fast, accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA, and light on mobile. But the difference that matters most isn't the stack, it's the *ownership*: the practice's content and data are **its own**, and the code has a published buy-out price. If they ever leave TechTailors, their content and data leave with them, with nothing to negotiate. ## The result The practice went from a broken, rented site to a fast one whose content and data are its own, at a fraction of the old monthly cost. We're holding specific booking and traffic numbers until we have 60 to 90 days of post-launch data: this is the rescue story (v1), and the outcomes update (v2) follows once the numbers are real.
